We have youth teams u11s and two u14 teams and we have two adult teams Saturday and Sunday all league teams and we are working to start women and girls football January or if you are someone that just want to have fun we also run free community football sessions where people from different footballing backgrounds just come together to enjoy football for fun..

We are on the lookout for volunteers to support Horrabridge Rangers SA, a Charitable Community Sports Association, at the heart of village life in Horrabridge.

Our club supports hundreds of local children, young people and adults each week through football, physical activity and community use of our facilities, and we simply can’t do it without volunteers.

We’re looking for help in areas such as:

• Matchday support (home games & events)

• Team helpers & admin support

• Grounds & facility support

• Fundraising & community events

• Media, marketing & social media

• General club support (behind the scenes!)

We are a community-based club with teams for boys and girls aged 4 to 16, including multiple girls’ teams. Like most grassroots clubs, we are run entirely by volunteers and rely on people giving a small amount of time to keep things running smoothly.

No prior experience as a football secretary is required. Training, guidance and ongoing support will be provided, and tasks can be shared across the committee to suit availability.

Time commitment
This role is flexible and can largely be done from home, at times that suit you. The workload varies across the season, with busier periods at the start and end of the football year.

Help will be gratefully received in the following areas (or any areas you can think of, that I have not):

*Secretarial support - help with the fixtures/inviting opposition and referees to the fixtures.

*Treasury support - helping with the club accounts.

*Helping in our club house - setting up/helping run our bar.

*Washing kit.

*Cooking player food for after the game.

*Helping with pitch maintenance, line marking and cutting.

*Social media - taking pictures, writing match reports.

*Collecting donations.

Our limited number of volunteers currently do this all between them and any assistance in any area to lighten the load, will be gratefully accepted.

It is with regret that we announce that our long-standing Football Secretary Dom Clark will be stepping down from his role at the end of the season due to the pressures of an increase in work and family commitments and the long weekly commute to matches.

We are therefore inviting applications from interested individuals for the position of Football Secretary.

This role will involve, but is not limited to, close liaison with the team manager, administration of all player-matters & registrations, liaison with the SFL & the FA, matchday admin (attendance at matches, posting teams on the matchday app and match official management), fixture management (agreement of any rearranged game dates) and liaison with Football Secretaries of opponents prior to each fixture.

We aim to have a suitable person in-post by the end of February so that the new post-holder can work closely with Dom in the final few months of the season and during pre-season to learn the procedures and processes such that they are fully conversant with SFL & FA systems in readiness for the start of the 26/27 season in August.
