Most of the preschoolers have really gotten the hang of counting and following directions. She incorporated a caterpillar and butterfly puppet for Ethan and Henry to use as she read the story. This is an example of a small motor lesson because she used scissors, markers, and tape to make the pyramid. They help each other by passing out the parts they need in order to build it. Of course Danny gets a little upset but they learn to share with one another. Before I did a group activity, allowing them to have partners so they can learn to socialize and share and it worked. So for future lessons, I would allow them to be in partners or groups.
