Lesson 7- This lesson goes over the basic editing tools of word. It starts with the insertion point, which is where you type. It shows us how to move it around. Then we learn how to select text with the key ctrl. Afterwards, we learn how to delete text by selecting text and pressing delete or backspace. Next, we learn how to copy and paste, as well as cutting. It also teaches us how to drag and drop by selecting the text and moving it with the insertion point. Next, we learned how to use the navigation pane. This is used to find words and phrases in the text.

Lesson 8- This lesson goes over formatting text. We learned how to change the font, as well as the size of it. Next, we learned how to change the colors of the text. Afterwards, we learned how to highlight and underline the text, as well as bold and italicize. Then, we learned how to change the caps and the text alignment. Finally, it showed us how to insert different symbols.

1. You go the the view tab on the ribbon and click the different layouts, split, etc.

2. To navigate you go to the home tab and go to the far right and click find. Then put in whatever you want to find in the box.

3. To select text, you hold your mouse and scroll over the text. To delete you then press backspace or delete. To replace you can either drag and drop another text or delete and type in a new text.

4. To cut you select the text and then press cut. To copy you select the text click the left key on your mouse and press copy. To paste, you need to go ctrl and v.

5. To change the content of the text, you go to replace under the home tab. Type in what you want to replace and what you are replacing it with.
