This purchase made double the size of U.S it greatly strengthened the country materially and strategically since its provided by a powerful impetus (Impetus- a driving force)<br>to the westward expansion, and the doctrine (Doctrine- a principle or position or the body of principles in a branch of Knowledge or system of belief) of implied powers of the federal Constitution.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The official mission was to ratify (Ratify- to approve and sanction formally)&nbsp;the Treaty of Friendship, (The treaty of friendship is closing the ties between the two countries)  which it was signed several years earlier. The agreement opened the ports of Edo (city in southeast Honshu, Japan, Tokyo Bay population 8,945,695 and four Japanese cities to American trade. The Japanese people were captivated to the citizen in American even the press. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Spanish-American war is a conflict between two countries that ended the Spanish colonial rule in America, resulting U.S to gain the territories in the western Pacific and Latin America. The reason why U.S. declared a war to Spain so the war originated in Cuba and it was struggling for its independence from Spain which in started in 1895. Spain is being repressive to end the rebellion and later on it was portrayed to the Americans by several sensational newspapers engaging in yellow journalism (Yellow journalism is a fake news to increase its sale) and Americans sympathy grew for Cuba.
