I am Filiz ÖZKURT and a French teacher at a high school in the Boyabat district of Sinop, Turkey. I am passionate about using innovative and student-centered approaches in my classroom, and I actively involve my students in local and international projects. I believe that learning a language is not just about grammar and vocabulary, but also about understanding cultures and building connections.

One of my main areas of interest is exploring the similarities and shared roots between different languages, which helps my students appreciate linguistic diversity and develop a deeper understanding of language learning.

I am very pleased and excited to be a part of this project and look forward to collaborating, sharing ideas, and learning together with all of you.

As part of the NextGen eTwinning Project, our students creatively designed their own digital avatars using various web tools and artificial intelligence applications. Through this activity, they not only expressed their personalities and ideas visually but also improved their digital literacy and creativity skills. This engaging task helped them explore the use of AI in design while encouraging self-expression and collaboration within the project.

Through active involvement in eTwinning projects, I can create innovative learning experiences that connect my students with peers across Europe, encouraging them to explore mathematics in real-world contexts and to develop intercultural understanding. My goal is to make mathematics meaningful, engaging, and relevant for the challenges of the modern world.
