LOL- Hiltz- Have students who are in the current courses share out with other students to market for certain courses. Allowed the students be part of the work. Engaging in assignments and got to experience part of the class.

New Elementary School: Asked teachers to meet with families in the grade levels to increase levels of school choice. Helped those parents feel more comfortable sending their students to school

We are hosting a Parent Info Night, tomorrow evening for our current parents. We hope they will share what they learn about our school with friends and neighbors whose children might be attending a school elsewhere.

The CTAE Department works closely with Communications to promote our CTE Programs through student interviews, work-based learning experiences, and promotional videos. We also send a monthly newsletter to our teachers, admin, and business partners.

Use of branding. We offer "fan fest" sales of gently used spirit wear at Open House, 9th grade transition event. We keep social media, website, etc...updated and relevant. We host Pathway event, and College Fairs. We offer after school tours for families interested in coming to CCHS. We host an 8th grade pep rally and tours of all our programs for incoming 9th graders each year. We go to middle school to promote our programs.

Kirkland principal goes on a road tour to talk to 8th graders. There are also student leaders who give tours and work on speaking with students to learn the school and make informed decisions.

Relationship building with the families. Pep rallies and getting the people on campus prior to the school choice window. Articulation pep rallies with incoming grade levels.

The Innovation Station is a bus that travels to elementary schools to promote hands-on CTE/STEM activities. The bus attends family/community nights as well. We promote our programs and provide families with a list of all CTE programs in the County.

We struggle with this. We put up a parent survey after every event, but not many people fill it out. Parent surveys pushed out in the community generally only get us feedback from the folks with negative perspectives. Other than this we use SAC input.

I use a leadership supplement and pay a staff member to be responsible for it. She also attends our weekly calendar meeting so that she can tell us what is currently being highlighted, and what needs to be updated. We also meet at the end of each year and review all of the pages of the site to check for relevance, and updates needed for the year ahead.

CTE Program events (Pasco Young Entrepreneur Competition, Burger Bash Competition, etc.)

Parents, family members, and friends of students attend these events. This is a great way for students to see a direct positive interaction with the CTE program.

Free monthly events BINGO, at the end of the night QR codes for attendence, what would they like to see for future events. Ceiling tile fundraiser family event on Friday from 6-8. Bring families in. Brings food trucks in from approved vendors.

On the horizon: School sites transition to Expression Engine platform which will help creating a consistent design. Pushing out important information to all sites will be more efficient.
