Using technology, just for the sake of technology is Wasteful. If it doesn’t transform your classroom, don’t use it. I think that this is really important because as somebody that does enjoy pen on paper, I also want my students to be experienced and have great learning through technology. But sometimes I struggle with seeing how you can use it properly, because I see so many times people just wanting to use it because it is technology and not because it necessarily helps.

I agree with using technology just for the sake of using it and feeling you have to because everyone else is. While I do believe technology is useful, making sure it works in your classroom is important. And if it doesn't, thats okay.

I thought it was important for the TED speaker to include how much power educators have. This can transform safe use for technology & of course many other aspects. I've witnessed various scenarios showing how this is not represented well. Having this philosophy can have a positive impact on the environment in the classroom.
