Recount Story

In the beginning of the film we see a sweet young couple walking side by side. The boy pulls his bike as he walks and the girl just walks and holds a small bag. They don’t say anything, just look at each other every now and then. The boy plucks up courage and holds the girl’s hand. She smiles back at him and seems really happy. Suddenly, the boys kisses her in her cheek and, being caught by surprise, she runs away and goes into her house. Then, she goes upstairs to her bedroom where she gets her diary to register this magical moment. Suddenly, we hear some other noises and discover the film is being shown at the cinema and the noise comes from the audience. It’s a group of pencils who watch in shock as the girl sharpens her pencil on screen so that she can keep writing in her diary.

A girl and a boy walk home from school. Everything's splendid - life's sunny. Before the girl enters her house the boy pecks her on the cheek. She runs to her house, going straight to her room to look for her diary in a box of treasures under the bed. She then sit down at her desk and picks up a pencil. This is where the horror film starts. Great idea! The pencils watch as she starts nibbing at her pencil... we hear horrified screaming from the audience of pencils in a cinema when the girl is thinking of sharpening the pencil she's writing with.

A 12-year old girl and a boy of the same age were coming home from school. The boy kissed the girl when they reached her house. The girl was so surprised that dropped her bag and ran away. Up in her room she took out her diary from under her bed to write down about what happened. And then we began to realize that the story wasn’t about them but about the pencils! She started biting a pencil and we heard some cries. Then she took a sharpener, and started to sharpen the pencil. We saw a movies screen, and the audience of pencils watching the horror movie. The movie ended and the pencils were going out discussing the movies.

Bald halten Sie vor dem Haus des Mädchens und der Junge küsst das Mädchen schnell auf die Wange. Sie lässt ihre Tasche fallen und läuft geschwind ins Hause und auf ihr Zimmer. Sie schließt die Tür hinter sich und holt eine Holzschachtel von unter ihrem Bett. An ihrem Schreibtisch öffnet sich die Schachtel und zieht ein Heft heraus. Mit einem Bleistift schreibt sie, dass Julien sie geküsst hat. Plötzlich hört man im Hintergrund anflehende Stimmen. Das Mädchen nimmt einen Bleistiftspitzer in die Hand und beginnt ihren Bleistift zu spitzen. Dann sieht man einen Kinosaal, wo alle Zuschauer Bleistifte sind. Diese Zuschauer sehen mit Entsetzen zu, wie auf der Leinwand, das Mädchen den Bleistift spitzt und dadurch quält. In dieser Bleistiftwelt gehen die Zuschauer nach diesem Horrorfilm nach Hause.

One afternoon, a teenage boy and girl were walking back home from somewhere. The boy attempted to hold the girl’s hand, and she let him. He then suddenly stopped, turned towards her and kissed her on the cheek. She was taken by surprise but got all show. She turned and ran into her house, dropping her bag along the way. She rushed up to her room, took out her secret diary from its hiding place under her bed, and started writing in it… “Today Julien kissed me” is what she began with. She then put the pencil in her mouth as a reflex to think of what else to write. The pencil began to make painful sounds and then there was a lot of screaming when the sharpener came into play. All the pencils watching this horror movie were quite shaken up, leaving the theatre shuddering.

A girl and a boy walk together. He touches her hand softly. When they reach the house where she lives, they stop and he kisses her. She seems really excited but shy about it too! She drops her bag, he picks it up. She runs upstairs and gets her diary out, excited, to write down what has just happened. So far, there is soft music playing, like the one you expect to hear in a romantic old film. But as she thinks what to write next and hesitates, biting her pencil softly, the sound changes and we hear screaming voices. The sound is gradually louder, with more and more screams, when the girl sharpens the pencil. Then we see the audience of the film are pencils who feel horrified about the cruelty of what’s happening to one of their kind.

A boy and a girl walk together to her house. they seems to be in love. The boy touches the girls hand and then they walk hand in hand up to her house. There he kisses her. She drops her bag and runs to her house and up stairs to her room. She takes her diary from a wooden box and start writing what she experienced. While she thinks what next to write she bites softly on her pencil. We however hear screams. When she starts to sharpen the pencil we see the pencil audience in a movie theat viewing a horror film for them. So the movie is not about the first love of a boy and a girl but it is a horror movie for the pencil audience that watches the horrific cruelty done to pencils by sharpening them. When the leave the theater they discuss the film.

A boy and a girl were going home from school in a lovely day .The boy was walking though he has a a bike holding his girl friend hand .Their eyes show deep love and passion.When the boy kissed the girl she felt thrilled and ran into her room to express her emotions before they fade.At that time the sharpener cause the audience scream because they could feel what the pencil being sharped felt.

Two children about 12 years old walked together in the neighborhood, probably returning from school. They seem to be in love or very happy to be together.They held hands, and when they arrived to the girl's house, the boy kissed her on the cheek. Emotion caused the girl to drop her bag, she ran into her house, hurried up stairs to find her diary  in her room, and then tell this experience. She took a pencil and began to sharpen it. Immediately we heard scream, shouts, and we saw a cinema where the audience were pencils, they were watching a horror film related to a pencil sharpener. When film finished, pencils discussed about the film. Most didn't like it.
I really was surprised by this ending.

The film starts quite idyllic. A girl and a boy walk together along the street in the suburb, the boy gives the girl a goodbye kiss on her cheek when coming to her house, she feels embarrassed, drops her bag, leaves him running and hurries upstairs to her room to write an entry in her diary about this event and her feelings. She thinks what to write and bites her pencil. Some angry voices appear to sound. It is not clear where they come from. The girl has to sharpen a pencil. She takes a pencil sharpener. The angry voices in the background become indignant and quite of a sudden there is a twist in the plot. The film about a boy and a girl turns out to be a horror film watched by crayons in the cinema. There is a burst of indignation in the cinema hall. Such a punchline!

A boy and, Ron, and his friend, Lily, were walking home from school. Nearing her house, Ron wanted to express his affection for Lily. He decided to kiss her. Surprised at the kiss, she ran away. Her house, being right there, she was able to quickly make her way into her room. She got out her diary to record this new event. As she placed her pencil on her lip, gasps rang out. She noticed her pencil needed sharpening. Suddenly the gasps became more pronounced. A movie threatre full of pencil beings were alarmed and hysterical as Lily sharpened the pencil. They were distraught and distrubed at the carving up of another pencil. "The End" showed up on the movie threatre screen and, in relief, the pencils left the theatre.

Pencils in the dark

It all began with an idyllic scene:
a boy and a girl walking hand in hand along a peaceful suburban road.
The birds were singing and the sun was shining, the air was freshened by a gentle breeze.
When the two arrived in front of the girl's house, the boy shyly kissed her and she run happily through her door and up the stairs to her bedroom.
She took her secret diary out from a wooden box under her bed and sat to her desk dreamily opening the pages and absent-mindedly biting her pencil. It was then that strange, undistinguished little screams began to fill the room, as if coming from nowhere, or from the very air. As soon as the girl, unaware of the screams, began to sharpen the pencil, the whispers became real screams of horror.
It was only then that the perspective of the scene changed revealing a theatre full of terrified , multicoloured pencils, watching the film from the other side.
The film closed on the sharpening scene, while the astonished audience left the theatre commenting on the crude sequence.

The story starts with a typical story of kids love and it looks to go that way till we start to heard people screaming when she bites the pencil. At first I thought she may have some kind of mental health issue and hearing voices in her mind but when the sharpener appeared and the screams started to grow even more it was clearly something else there. It was really a surprise to see that we were in a cinema watching a horror film.

Julien was walking his girlfriend back home when they began slightly touching hands. When they finally reached her house, Julien, went ahead and gave her a peck. She ran away leaving a bag behind and dashing into her room where she looked for a box under the bed which contained her diary. As she sits and starts writing down what just had happened one hears some strange noises, gasps and cries. Everytime she put her pencil in her mouth one can hear this sounds. When she starts to sharpen her pencil the sounds become louder until one can finally understand that this is a horror film for pencils.

A girl and a boy are walking along the street. They seem in love. The boy dares to take her by the hand and then kisses her on the cheek. The girl runs home, having dropped her bag. The boy picks it up, hugs it and walks away. The girl rushes upstairs into her room, takes a box from under the bed, sits at her desk, takes out her diary and starts writing in it. Then she stops to recall something chewing thoughtfully on end of pencil.

At this moment we can hear worried voices and when the girl decides to sharpen the pencil we see a cinema full of pencils trembling with fear. Some of them are in panic because they see the girl sharpening the pencil. What looks like a romantic film turns out to be a horror film for pencil people.

After I waked up I prepared and arranged myself to go to school. Later, at school I paid attention to the teacher taking notes of some important details the instructor said. Meanwhile I was at school, I talked with my mates and played with them at the playtime. But, an unusual thing happened, my neighbour who usually accompanied me to my house, one day during our walk he took my hands and told me beautiful things and just when I was in front of my house he kissed me, that was an awesome experience, my best friend was in love of me, that was great, because I liked him and I wouldn’t have imagined that he also liked me. After this I immediately run to my house and looked for my diary to write there all the great emotions I felt after he kissed me. That was gorgeous.

Boy and Girl walking home, hands touch, Boy kisses Girl on cheek, she turns and leaves him, dropping her bag in the process. A Cinderella moment. She runs up the garden path, into the house and up the stairs into her room, and takes a memory box from under her bed.She writes in her diary – character of music changes from lyrical string section to a strident lower cello-like register. As she continues to think and chew on her pencil, voices can be heard. Turns out she is in a film and an 'audience' of pencils is watching her, horrified as she sharpens her pencil. As the audience leave the cinema, they are discussing their opinions of the horror film they've just watched.

Love is in the air as a young girl is walked home by a young boy. In front of her house, he kisses her for the first time. She wants to record the moment so dashes up to her room to write in her diary. The mood turns dark as she chews her pencil in thought, then screams are heard from an unknown source as she sharpens the pencil. The perspective changes to show we have been watching a movie within a movie, and we are in a theatre where the audience are all pencils, wailing at the terror of the sharpener. The movie ends and we hear the post-show comments of the pencils as they leave the theatre.

A sunny spring day gives way to a romantic story. The music emphasizes that incredible mood of love and peace. The boy and the girl walk back from school. Both are infatuated with each other and the climax arrives when they kiss. She drops her little toy and runs to her house. It remind us of Cinderella´s story when she loses her shoe. Then the girl opens her diary to write what happened. The turning point of the film comes when she gets the sharpener. Suddenly, they are part of a film within the film and the protagonist are the pencils in French "Les Crayons" what are creative twist in the story.

After the boy kisses the girl to say goodbye, she enters her houese, goes upstairs to her bedroom and look for the diary that will be the witness of her feelings. As she is writing, the girl starts bitung her pencil and suddenly, some screams can ne heard. Later, she looks for her sharpener and as she introduces the pencil into it, the screams become louder. There we realize that the screans come from pencil viewers who are horrified by the violent scene. It is a film inside a film.

The girl drops her bag; run quickly to his room upstairs, take out his notebook and his pencil to write: Today Julien kissed me. Then she chews on her pencil while thinking. We hear noise, characters speak. It is actually a pencil that look so a horror movie because the girl eats the pencil and sizes.

Julie and Paul were in love; well, weren't they? Paul thought so; he was absolutely in her clutches when he pressed to his heart the purse that she had thrown on the ground so deliberately for him to pick up as she ran from him. leaving him mesmerised. What connivance. In her room, possessed by a better- not-get-in-my-way determination (for under that veneer of sweetness and light thumped a heart of granite), Julie set about her diabolical deeds. Opening her tool box, She took out her victims and all the apparatus that she needed to achieve her ends. She applied herself, grinding the helpless ones within her pearly teeth, she tore their flesh round and round in her metal torture cylinder and unbelievably, as if that wasn't enough she dragged them back and forth over the surface of the poisoned sheets that she had prepared for them, just to round off her terrible work. So say the onlookers from real life, after watching their own kind being decimated in this cinematic spectacle of true horror. Mercifully, pencils are for real, humans are not. Stay tuned for the next episode of: "The Massacre".

The audience of pencils was upset and they discussed their fear and their impressions of the film as they exited the theatre. As they exited the theatre, we could see: the lovely scene with the girl and the boy was a scene from a horror movie made for pencils. This short film used intertextuality.
