You may choose to build off of your "check for understanding," or you may want to come up with a completely original idea. Your assessment should ultimately analyze how well each student met the lesson objective and mastered the standard(s) addressed within the lesson.

In addition to designing the assessment, please create a corresponding rubric. Choose one of the three styles detailed in the article from the previous slide and design the rubric accordingly.

Finally, please write a brief, one-paragraph reflection explaining how your assessment targets the desired skill/standard and why the rubric type you chose is the best fit.

Note: Keep in mind everything we have learned about child development. Make sure the style and scope of the assessment is meeting your students where they are.
