Prophet Nuh is a direct descendant of Prophet Adam. He is one of the most important Prophets in Islam. 

His Story:
Prophet Nuh was asked by Allah to build an Arc and warn people of the flood that would soon be upon the disbelievers. Prophet Nuh was also asked to gather one male and one female of every animal on earth. Although this was a difficult task, Prophet Nuh did as he was asked. However, the disbelievers decided to go on their own path, which eventually led them to their deaths. As the skies started raining, the beasts gathered near the Arc. As soon as all the animals were onboard the Arc, it immediately started pouring rain. It rained for 40 consecutive days.

His Family:
Most of his family were believers, but one of his sons and most of his relatives were disbelievers. They all ended up dying.

Nuh's Death:
Nuh lived to be around 950 years old. When Prophet Nuh was about to die, he was asked: "How did it feel to spend so many years on earth?"  He replied saying "I saw this life on earth like a house with two doors. Prophet Nuh is one of the greatest messengers
of allah.  He is also one of the steadfast messengers. Prophet Nuh  was sent to bring his people back to truth and straight path of Allah. His people were those who had first adopted idol worship.  As hard as Prophet Nuh tried to convince his nation that there is only one god. They did not listen. Nuh made a dua' to wipe out the disbelievers. Prophet Nuh was told by Allah to build an ark (ship) out of wood, and to bring animals of each breed onto the boat and the believers to keep them safe. The flood of the river wiped the disbelievers out. Prophet Nuh was the son of Lamak. He was the first prophet that was sent as a messenger.  

His mission was to warn people to return to Islam. He tried his best to convince people to come to Islam, but realized that they would not listen. 

Allah made Prophet Nuh build the ark. While he was building it he was mocked by the people around him, but he kept going and doing what Allah had asked of him. 

Prophet Nuh took a male and female of each kind of animal in his boat. It then started raining and water burst out of the Earth. Nuh's son disobeyed him and did not go into the ark. His wife drowned too as a disbeliever. 

Prophet Nuh was asked by the angels what it felt like to be in on Earth, and he replied that time went past very fast.

Prophet Nuh was the son of Lamak. He was the first prophet sent as a messenger by Allah.

Allah sent prophet Nuh to his people and ordered him to return them to Islam, before a severe torture would suddenly befall them.

Allah promised that he would drown all the disbelievers in a great flood. He ordered prophet nuh to build an Ark in his waterless land.

As the sky started raining everywhere, the beasts gathered near the Ark. Upon Allah's order, Prophet Nuh took a male and a female pair of each kind of animal along with the believers on the Ark at the same time that it rained water exploded out of the Earth like nothing before for many days.

When Prophet Nuh was about to die he was asked a question by the angels, "How did it feel to spend so many years on Earth?"Prophet Nuh expressed his amazement of how quick his life went on as he replied, "I saw this life on Earth like a house with two doors. Prophet Nuh was the son of Lamak and the first messenger of Allah. He is considered the second father to mankind. 

His mission was to preach Tawheed as the first messenger of mankind. The people of his time were very corrupt and rebellious of Allah and worshipped idols instead of God alone and directly. The people of his time made his job and life hard, so the Prophet requested to Allah to warn them.  Allah told Nuh to build an arc and to take every believer on when he sees a sign from Him.

Decades later, Allah poured so much rain from the sky and made water burst from under the dry land. It caused a huge flood and demolished the land. Prophet Nuh took a pair of all animals with opposite sexes and all the believers on board the arc. His wife and son both were non believers and died in the flood. His son was disobedient and said that he could survive the flood if he climbed the highest mountain but drowned. The believers stayed on the arc for about 150 days.

When Prophet Nuh was about to pass, the angles asked him about how it felt like to live on Earth. He replied saying it was like going into a house with 2 doors. His 3 offsprings were the only ones to reproduce and the children of each were the fathers of 3 races. The Arabs, Romans, Greeks and Persians and Turks. Sicilians, Gog and Magog. Prophet Nuh's place of resting (his grave or the place where he died) is on Mount Judi where his ark is as well.
