Feeling of Freedom

The photo was taken in a golden field. The subject is wearing light blue jeans and black and white sneakers. The right foot is positioned on top of the left foot. All these brought unity to the photo and the establishment of the feeling of freedom and peacefulness. The sunset reflecting its light onto the field creating an almost golden paradise where no random object or item disrupts it. As a result of the texture of the golden grass brought the unity and balance of the photo, Deserving the title "Feeling of Freedom."I want to send a message to viewers to not be afraid to go to their own path and that if they do take their own path they would be surprised to see how very satisfying it is.

Breadth Statement

For my breadth category I want to include the variety of colors and meaning of nature through the unity, balance, emphasis, contrast, repetition, and proportion/scale. In most of my works of art are mainly based on nature. Each artwork carries the burst of colors and high contrast in order to create a feeling of peace. Ever since when I was a little girl I remember the many times when my mom would take me and my twin sister around the woods. Soon enough we were old enough to tour around not only through the woods but natures works of art as well. The more we adventure around the more we see that we are surrounded in a world full of art and it is up for us to make our own works of art with it.

In the photo consist with two golden rings on the red, yellow and orange leaves of fall. The bright and booming colors of red, yellow, orange and a hint of green brought emphasis to the meaning at hand. My interpretation of my artwork is marriage or the everlasting bond between two individuals.

In the photo the pair of dark brown construction shoes are placed on the black pathway with fences on the side. Leaves surround the item with it's light brown and tan-ish colors. As a result of those colors, the image demonstrated the overall colorful flow of peaceful and calmness feeling. In the photo the viewers can easily see the amount of space on the left side of the image. This is caused by the use of Rule of thirds making the eyes look more at the left side and then turn towards the bounty of leaves on the right side created balance and unity.

This photo was taken on a cool spring evening. In the corner the sun flares light onto the photo. And brought emphasis of the dark blue sky. The magnolias already bloomed with bright blazing pink and light green leaves. As one could notice I have altered the photo into a more paint like structure. As a result giving more of a abstract photo. The photo demonstrates the feeling of peace and neutrality.

Dangerous? yes. Worth it? oh yea. I am actually proud this piece because it demonstrated the vivid colors of yellow and black paint on the road. As well as the dark green color of the trees in the background. As the viewers can see I have used the worms eye view technique in order to create the depth of field in the background. Blurring the trees and the repetition of cars to focus mainly on what is in front
