In ARITS dreams are represented when Walters family moves into a bigger house in a better neighborhood, and reality hits when Linder attempts mask his true intentions with the Younger family. “You see---in the face of all the things i have said, we are prepared to make your family a generous offer…,”(118) Linder intended to buy the Youngers new home with a so called, “generous” offer, the reality  behind this offer was that Linder and the rest of community wanted the Youngers out because of their skin color.
