SAMR is a classification system that can help us think about how we use ed tech in our classrooms; thinking through these levels can help push us to new ideas or help us realize when less is more. However, I think it is not so productive to worry too much about whether a particular activity falls under A or M, for example, because the lines are not solid. After all, all of these categories are examples or modification (change). Also, the examples of redefinition that we've seen all have to do with tearing down the walls of the classroom and creating contact with the world. Are there other ways to redefine?
