The police continue their investigation, but they think it could have been more people.

The man was identified early Tuesday, after units specialized in bomb disposal confirmed that the apparent explosives he was carrying were false.

Of the 17 injured who were transferred to health centers, at least seven were in critical condition.

The aggressor killed by the agents was wearing an explosive vest that turned out to be false and was carrying "an assault rifle and other weapons," according to police sources.

The attack occurred just hours before Austria imposed its new national restrictions to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

I find it very sad that these things happen, hopefully they will soon have what they deserve and everything is over.

A number of attacker armed with rifles have launched an assault across several locations in central Viena.
Attacks ocurred across six locations in central Viena after 8pm local time.
Five people died during an attack in Viena on Monday night and fourteen people, including at least one police officer were injured by gunfire and stabbing attacks, which broke out at 8pm.
The attack ocurred on the last night before a new covid-19 lockdown was due to to come into force in the city. The shootings took place near the central synagogue but it is not yet residents to stay away from the centre of Viena.

The night monday occurred in a terrorist attack in Vienna, Austria which left five people dead, among them an attacker that died by a police.

The man had been armed with an automatic rifle, a handgun, and a machete. He was also wearing a fake explosives belt which turned out to be a dummy.

The last news is that fourth civilians has dead and several people has arrested by police overnight. But the investigations continuing.

Police has reported on monday night regarding a shooting near a sinagogue in Vienna, Austria.

The identity of the main causant is unknown but it seems to be a male in his 20's who had an assault rifle and a machete, he was also wearing a fake suicide vest and had various hostages.

Four people died during the shootout in wich the agressor was taken down, there were also several victims with shot and stab wounds.

22 people were wounded by gunshot and knife, of which 3 are in critical condition; and 4 have died.

14 people associated with the assailant have been detained for questioning, but the evidence collected so far showed no indication that there was a second assailant.

When they found the body they saw that the body has a explosives vest but this was fake. Several people have been arrested and five people have died. On Monday night 5 people died as a result of a terrorist attack in the Austrian Capital. Exactly 1 man and 2 civilian women died, and 2 armed men killed by the police.
Authorities identified through forensic companies that they were Islamic teterrorist over 20 yearsold.

The terrorist attack was in Vienna yesterday night. The terrorist was islamic and was twenty years old.

The terrorist had carried many weapons , and his body was also found with an explosives vest. But the turned out to be false. Five people died and one of them one of the police force, fourteen injured persons and seven in critical condition.
The interior minister said everyone stayed home until clearance was given.
My personal opinion is that they should not have terrorist attacks. The police should act faster.
