A. The company has experienced financial difficulties due to the fact that they didn't catch up with the latest changes in the market. Over the years, there has been immense changes in technologies, I.e. the digital cameras, which also lead to the changes in consumers taste as they think that digicams are much cooler than cameras with a photographic films and that they think that those cameras are too old for today’s society. As a result, the sales in the photographic films vastly decreased over the years.

B. Maintaining good customer relationships could have helped Kodak avoid failure by allowing them to understand changing market trends, like the shift to digital photography. Strong ties with customers would have provided valuable feedback for improving products and built loyalty, which is important during tough times. It could have also led to useful partnerships and strengthened the brand’s reputation. Engaging with photography communities would have kept Kodak connected to their customers' needs, helping them stay relevant in a changing market.

Kodak's bankruptcy was mainly because they were unable to adapt to the sudden rapid change of technology development. Since they have mastered in making analog cameras, so there were unable to keep up with the trends and create digital cameras. They also receive pressure since digital camera prices is falling and they provide great advanced features.

Maintaining good customer relationship would have played a huge part on the businesses success. Since the company could have made cameras according to the customers preference. By focusing on customer needs, Kodak could have keep track on the growing demand of digital cameras allowing them to be more prepared for the sudden change in trend.

1. The company experienced financial difficulty due to being unable to adapt to the latest change in the market. These changes include people's preference, as well as advancements/improvements in technology. In Kodak's case, depending on selling photographic film for cameras, eventually led to its downfall when digital cameras took over the market. Especially with preference of digicams in India, further growing its market to 40%, would lead it to have the people's favor. Especially with new video recording features in digicams, and fall in price would help well known manufacturers such as Sony, Canon and Samsung enjoy the rising sales. With cheaper prices and more advanced features, people would prefer digital cameras, which will further lead to a decrease in sales for Kodak, unless they they can successfully restructure to become a seller of cameras.

2. Maintaining good customer relationships can help with positive publicity, and an overall good impression of the business. This would help the business stay alive as they can build up trust with consumers/customers which result in customer loyalty, and they may still buy the photographic film for cameras further helping the shop possibly keep its sales and stay open.

1. Even though KODAK was once a very successful company, the company is now in its lowest. KODAK struggles to except the technological innovation. In fact they were the one who invented the digital camera but tried to hide its innovation just to save its once successful film business. They failed to see the potential in there innovation.

As the digital photography rises and reduces the demand of traditional photographic film, it was to late for KODAK to adapt its company to the digital era. As they try to adapt to the digital era, its competitions (Sony, Canon and Samsung) has already dominated the market. KODAK have lost their loyal customers and is now facing bankruptcy due to the decline of sales.

2. Since KODAK is known for how they are closed to new ideas, If ever KODAK listened to their customers, understanding their needs and staying ahead of their trends, there is a high chance that KODAK will still stay successful. This can be done by releasing there innovation, that is the digital camera and improving it with add in features such as video recording and maybe filters.

KODAK has already establish a very good customer relationship with there film products. With the trust of their customers in their film photography products and the release of digital cameras that they could have done, they would most deffinitely dominate the market today.

1. Kodak experienced a decline in sales due to the rapidly changing perspective of consumers on the photography market, where Kodak failed to adapt quickly into the new era of digital cameras, and instead, stick as producers of photographic film of the traditional old film cameras they have mastered and pioneered for years, due to this, they struggle to get customers' attention to their aging and obsolete product that has become a luxury for consumers as digital cameras from other companies experience rapid price falls as new technology emerged as leaders in quality and design of cameras.

2. Kodak is a company that relies on the loyalty of customers, as the brand turn into a luxury commodity for old cameras and film, they target loyal customers by maintaining good customer relations for them to keep buying their product rather than look for a better, cheaper alternative of other camera brands that sells digital cameras. Kodak maintains their loyalty and trust to old customers who would rather experience the vintage style of Kodak and its' products, thus becoming a brand that is tailored to a specific genre of people who would rather have the aesthetically pleasing aspect of film cameras.

Kodak faced financial difficulties due to its incapability to adapt and catch up to the changes in the market. As time goes on, technology has improved drastically and caused many changes, including change in consumer’s preferences and change in population which then led to a massive change to the market. In recent years, digital cameras were slowly taking over the market, and with the dependency of Kodak towards photographic films, the company’s sales decreased rapidly. Digital cameras come with a lot more features and benefits to its users, it is no wonder why people will choose it over Kodak’s photographic films. Moreover, photographic films are getting too old and less efficient to use, leading Kodak to bankruptcy.

Maintaining a good customer relationship might help Kodak to avoid failure as this allows them to be more aware of the changes in the market and make appropriate actions and responses. Additionally, it can help build trust amongst its consumers and gain customer and brand loyalty which can help the business running and prevent it from going bankrupt.
