I think that being a digital citizen means to understand what you are posting on the internet and not oversharing and stopping people from cyber bullying or creating fake or spam accounts. People can think before they post stuff on the internet to make sure it is good and won’t offend anyone and that you aren’t oversharing. People can make sure they use THINK, making sure it is true, helpful, inspiring, necessary and kind.

They do not overshare things and accept friend requests from people they don't know. They know what are the risks of doing things in the internet that you should not do. Some steps people can do to be a digital citizen is to post once in a while and do not overpost things and share private information. They should only post content that is important.

Ways to be a good digital citizen include: Communicating respectfully with others, thinking ( T: True H: Helpful I: Inspiring N: Necessary K: Kind) before posting, and telling a trusted adult when you see something you don’t like.

Being a digital citizen means to post things online in a way that doesn’t harm anybody or put themselves in danger. One way to be a good digital citizen is to not partake in oversharing. Oversharing is when you start to put very personal information about yourself on the internet. You should also not make numerous spam accounts, in which people post a lot of unnecessary things on the internet in a way that no one will know it’s them. Even by doing this, these posts that are made will stay there forever. Deleting these posts doesn’t help at all, as there is always somebody who will have taken a screenshot of your post. By using the acronym THINK, you can make the rightful decision on whether you should post something on the internet or not, as whatever you post online will stay there forever.
