The m-learning is more proactive for students. As an example, there are many m-learning tools that can prepare you for language tests such as the IELTS. The students can work literally anywhere, in commuting time on the bus or even in a lunch break. In this sense it is more free on schedules. Lastly, it has the important feature of instant feedback, since you can send an e-mail or communicate through the chat that some of them provide. One of its barriers or cons is how expensive it can be to have data on our mobiles, or if you have an Apple product it may have issues with documents that can be read through Flash. M-learning in my opinion is a bigger extension of that, only the group is as large and wide as the global population and the goal is one decided by the user. Through my limited experience, it seems that whenever someone is given access to technology they generally don't use it for the predetermined purpose.

That is not to say that it is bad, but students need to have some responsibility before sandbox learning can happen; or else time can be squandered or worse yet, they learn the wrong stuff or mislead themselves.

Be aware when you're using this that involve technology and being online, that things can possibly go wrong. The tools might not work and you might have issues with the individuals who are tying to use it. Don't be afraid to let individuals help with the learning when you are using e-learning. The students/learners that are partaking in it with you, are good with these types of things so make it a learning experience. Explore and collaborate with fellow classmates, coworkers and everybody else.
