•Reduces the amount of waste that needs to be recycled or sent to landfills/incinerators.
•It saves money since reusable items work out cheaper than constantly purchasing more plastic.
•Reduce the burden on the healthcare system.
•People will start to get used to bringing their own cutlerys , and reduce the use of single-use plastic.

  As a result, the cost of providing free plastic cutlery and straw is enormous.
  
  By tax on single use plastic, we will see a substantial drop of expenditure.

 Owing to a decrease on expenditure, I agree with a levy for single-use plastics.
