I am a psychology major because I have this passion to make a difference on how the world views mental health. I want to become a psychiatrist and open up my own practice. Growing up with ADHD, depression and anxiety I seen the reputation of mental health is not where i'd like it to be. Mental health should always be just as important as your own physical health. Growing up with ADHD, Depression and Anxiety, the only way I got educated on theses topics are from the internet. The people around me never talked about the importance of mental health and what psychology is. I learned over the internet the science behind psychology and the importance behind it. Our minds are our greatest thing that we forget to take care of. I deal with psychology in my everyday life from myself and others.
