Students will read  How We Clean Up a Park. Students will then go outside on their playground or street and help clean up. The teacher will provide students with gloves and bags. Students will pick up some trash and recycle it. Students will write down what they earned from the experience when they get back to school.

Students will create a brochure with things they can do to help people recycle and help the environment. They will be given a guide and told what does on each page. They will create a cover with a title, and inside will be 2-3 things they can do to help people recycle or help the environment. Then they will have to draw a picture of themselves in the back.
