Meanwhile, Colonel Juan de Salinas, leader of the military forces, declared loyalty to the Government Junta. The support of the 177 soldiers of the colonial garrison was a key aspect for the triumph of this revolt, ensuring that armed confrontations did not take place.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
