- Required characteristics of the product
- Duration: five to six minutes
 Time each slide, provide enough time for   the audience/viewer to read and perceive all the informaton correctly so that they can acknowledge my efforts and take action in managing their household wastes keeping in mind the impacts of not doing so; and so that they can learn how resources are conserved for future generations.

- Unplagarised editing/effects/sounds/content:
  This is an extremely important point as an animation or any audi-visual needs to have original content. Even if I have refered to a source, I will cite it/give the original source credit. For example if I have taken information about sanitary landfills from a website, I will cite the source in the appendix using MLA citation. 

- Background information/preliminary knowledge/future action plan:
In the animation, I have to talk about what I know about waste segregation and pollution casued by wastes; and talk about the actions I plan to take about it in the future.

- Modern 2D animation style
 My animation will be a 2D creation, as it is easy and efficient to create new storyboards and charcaters in different panels. It is also cheaper compared to 3D animation, and is a quicker process. However, it is just as hard to organize scenes in the timeline.

Process:

Step 1: Develop a script for the animation- Decide what happens in  each scene and  based on that create a script; what each character says and the information I share in the animation in each slide. Talk about the problem first, and gradually the impacts and solutions towards the end.

Step 2: Make a storyboard for the animation- Create a geenral outlook of the animation, with different panels and how the animation will progress, choose which information aout waste segregation will come under which slide, and how the characters will look. Select the general background.

Step 3: Record a voice-over OR use a narration tool; select background effects and sounds/music
