Vigo first appears in the fourth book, when Cogsley and Miskit fall off the Luna Moth and he rescues them and brings them to his house. As a child, he befriended Max Griffin, who often had no friends due to his respect to elves, even though the specific elves he was loyal to did a lot to help the city of Cielis.
