Hello everyone, my name is Bianka and I am a student of psychology, currently in the last year of my studies. For me, psychology is a lens into the depth of people's experiences and life stories, and also a tool to help people make sense of their experiences. This is probably the reason why I am interested in qualitative research and why I would like to become a psychotherapist later. I like to keep my life balanced (and also very busy), so I cultivate many hobbies outside of my studies - I do a few different sports and I like to create art.

Hi, my name is Zuzi. I am currently studying social anthropology, but in my previous studies, I focused on sociology combined with international relations and security. What I enjoy most about my studies is that both programs approach the world in very different ways. This contrast allows me to see multiple perspectives and understand that there is room for debate in almost every topic. I appreciate being able to explore complex issues from more than one point of view.

Hi, my name is Jana, and I am just starting my master's in psychology. Mainly, I think, my area of study challenged me to try and take into account other people's perspectives, which is a skill I am still learning to this day. I really enjoy following all the little nuances with which individuals perceive the world we live in. That might be one of the reasons why I am most interested in social psychology, although it is possible my academic interest will shift during my master's studies.

Hiya, my name is David. I’m studying sociology in my 2nd semester. When someone asks me what sociology actually is, I often use the proverb “Jack of all trades, master of none, but still better than master of one.” To me, it perfectly reflects sociology’s versatility and its ability to observe, engage with, and draw from many different disciplines and fields. The saying itself is also a good description of me and my interests outside of my studies. At the moment my current focus is on culture, media, religion (old and new).

Hi! I'm Václav, a student of the International Relations master's program here at FSS MUNI. My academic interests are the EU, which I studied during my bachelor's years, politics and war studies. I hope to incorporate all of these into my master's thesis on EU's Strategic Compass. The upcoming parliamentary elections are what really excites me now. Hi, I’m Fengjie. I’m from China and I’m currently studying for a master’s degree in Public Social Policy at Masaryk University. My field focuses on understanding how social policies shape society, particularly in areas such as education, labor markets, and social welfare. I’m especially interested in issues related to employment, social inequality, and the challenges young people face in transitioning from education to work. My master’s thesis explores the phenomenon of overeducation in China, examining how mismatches between education and the labor market affect graduates’ career opportunities and broader social mobility. In the future, I would like to work for an NGO or an international organization where I can contribute to addressing social challenges and supporting vulnerable groups. I chose to study Public Social Policy because I believe that well-designed policies can improve people’s lives and make society a fairer and better place for everyone.

Hi everyone! My name is Daniela, and I come from Ostrava. I am a master’s student of psychology at Masaryk University, and I also did my bachelor’s degree in psychology here. I am especially interested in clinical psychology, as I would like to become a clinical psychologist in the future and work in psychiatric hospital. I enjoy learning about psychopathology and understanding how mental health issues can be effectively treated and managed. Outside the university, I try to spend as much time as possible with my family and friends, I also make time for traveling around the world.
