•Presentation: The teacher introduces the new language ,it could be vocabulary, grammar, expressions ,etc. The goal is for students to understand the meaning , form, and use of the new language.


•Practice: the students do controlled excersices to practice the new language.


•Production: here the students use the new language in a more free and creative way, in real or simulated contexts.
