We need to develop the skillset of a great facilitator/learning developer. Here are actionable items to consider:

Build strategies/opportunities to contextualize learning moments so our solutions are learner centered.

How can a learning be "learner centered" if we dont consider the experiences and expertise of our learners?? Ya Cant.

Develop Relationships. Rita Pierson, a renowned educator once stated, "kids dont learn from people they dont like"

Adult learners are more stubborn than kids...so multiply the effect of the above statement and remember to always develop relationships!

Be around great. You are a reflection of the 5 people you spend the most time with. Hang around great facilitators/learning designers...youll be the next.

Get your reps in. Get creating and just start facilitating...youll learn way faster that way.

Reflect. Always reflect if you want to grow...especially in L&D!
