I feel like the compass provided me with a label to many of the experiences I've had. On another note, I do personally feel that categorizing all the ideas one has in a moment to one word, can feel a little limiting. Mainly because they were real and personal stories, people had actually lived. And it gave me a glimpse into how we each step into the 'real' world for the first time. (in terms of racial prejudice and bias) I alsoooooo, like the method of 'separating race', because i feel like it gave an example of how to create and provide structure for others to make 'productive' statements when talking about race.
