- saying Bangladesh can adapt to being mostly underwater like the Netherlands. This overlooks the country's situation and struggles, assuming they have just as much the capacity to address this on top of all their other priorities 
- Instances of direct impact are already happening (eg current famines in Africa linked to climate change affecting soil) yet he talks about them as hypothetical
- "The climate could change and we could still save koalas" but this doesn't tackle how we could, esp his approach
