I am eager to teach my students poetry every year in my classroom because it is a great way to get them to write expressively. Are there some titles out there specifically for secondary students n mind?

As a librarian, I would share poetry book with students. Either through a display or book talks. Books written in verse like Alexander Kwame's Crossover would be a great book to recommend to students who might not otherwise pick up a book with poetry. This book tells a story with verse and seems to be able to have the perfect combination of both powerful poems and story.
