I discussed Hayley's back story and added ideas on her history leading up to the script. This included her relationship with her partner before her baby passed away and how her baby passed away - still in process of deciding this one - but I feel maybe she fell asleep and accidentally smothered her baby which added to the grief and played a big factor in how she split with her partner.
- Discussed how Hayley stalking and tracking Lyndsey could be signalled to the audience. I suggested the car is seen at multiple times leading up to the scene where she picks her up.
- Talked about costume and make-up.
- James and Alice are doing a location recci at my apartment for Hayley's home this evening. - Researched into films to watch to help with my characterisation of Hayley. - Madeline McCan documentary, Kate keeps herself composed on camera but still looks slightly upset in her eyes and this could work for the first scene. - YOU the Netflix series is another good example to help with the characterisation of Hayley because Joe's character is similar. He is seen as a good guy, but does bad, twisted things. However he thinks his intentions are good, he does them to protect Guinevere. Just like Hayley with Lyndsey.

- Listened to James' direction on blocking.
The things that challenged me where;
- Waiting for the crew to set up each shot, there was a lot of trial and error with equipment.
- Being in my home with a large number of people really tested my focus because I felt uncomfortable and it was distracting whilst trying to act.
-Being in my home also tested my characterisation because I was in my own personal environment.

Felt like I still did really well, it was challenging. These challenges have helped me grow my focus, characterisation and patience.

I felt this would contradict Hayley's motive of trying to look like a suspect. However, I watched the Madeline McCan documentary and analysed the behaviour of both parents and Kate defends her emotionless behaviour on TV as a means to protect Madeline this helped me to explore Hayley's motives as if she is trying to 'protect' Lyndsey from seeing hers.

- Car scene challenged my physical acting because I had to slap Lewis in the face. James just told me to sleep in the bed and wake up, and the lack of direction meant I was able to play up to my character and I did it very well because James liked it and asked me to do it again on for the second take. 
With it being in my own bedroom it felt very personal. However, it motivated me to stay focused. The benefit to playing Hayley was we shared similar traits in terms of perfectionism and OCD and whilst in my apartment me and Hayley merged, it felt more organic.

My mind was focusing on whether I was doing the same movements instead of being fully in character. The cake was quite difficult to get on the spoon but I just tried to act like it wasn't an issue, because in real life it wouldn't matter.
