2. Locate ECN Help and Click Add Printer.

3. Click on the 3rd bullet - "Select a shared printer by name" and type: \\ecnprint08.itap.purdue.edu\ and choose the appropriate printer.

3. ABE printers are labelled by room number. Example: If you want to print to a device in the computer lab in ABE room 2098, you would choose the printer named "abe2098h1" 

4. DO NOT USE printers marked "-ps"

5. Once you have selected a printer, the system should add it.

6. Click Next, Click Next again, and then you can print a test page or Click Finish to close the box.

2. Right click "This PC" and select "Map Network Drive".

3. Select the drive to use, N: is suggested.

4. In the Folder box, type \\pasture.ecn.purdue.edu\username

(Your username is your email address without @purdue.edu after it!)

5. Click Finish.

To push software to your desktop, complete the Support Request Form at https://engineering.purdue.edu/ECN/AboutUs/ContactUs

• Select "Engineering" as the organization and "ABE" as the school/department.

• The student must contact the lab group owner or PI and obtain the account number in which to charge.
• Email the Business Office with these account number.  We must authorize the account for the individual.  The student will not have access until this is completed

CAND 99100 is the one that you register for along with other credits, like research or course credits. If you are being paid on an assistantship or fellowship in your last semester, you MUST register as a full time student, and would therefore use CAND 99100.

If you have completed all course work and only need to complete the final exam and deposit your thesis, we do offer a "privileged" registration. This is available as a standalone registration and will not require any additional course or research credits with it. This is 0 credits and costs around $204.

Degree Only - CAND 99200 allows for defense and deposit of thesis. The deadline to complete is usually midway through the semester as opposed to the end.

In order to register as exam/degree only for any session we need a few things to happen:

• All of the degree requirements must be met, except for defending and/or depositing thesis/dissertation (All courses listed on the Plan of Study must be completed with a C- or better prior to submitting the request)

• Satisfactory research in the previous session (698/699).

• The request to register for CAND 992 can be emailed to Nikki or requested through the scheduling assistant.

• Must meet mid-semester Degree Only deposit deadline (See the Graduate School's Academic Dates and Deadlines calendar for specific dates each term.)

If the CAND 99200 deadline is missed, your registration will be changed to 1 credit of research and CAND 99100. If more than 1 credit is needed, your department will work with the registrar to modify the registration. You will then have until the end of the session to finish up the defense (deadlines in Grad School calendar link ).
