Students will be listening to a book called Homes for Everyone from the Head Start Frog Street curriculum. The book is nonfiction and shows various types of homes from single family homes, apartments, to tree houses. In this STEM lesson, students will build an apartment using the engineering design process. Embedded in this lesson are the standards from Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards for 4 years old to Kindergarten and they include: approaches to learning, language and literacy, mathematical thinking, scientific inquiry, and engineering and technology content.
