It was as a Kingdom in 1139, and became independent in 1143.&nbsp;<br>In the 15th and 16th centuries, the first global maritime and commercial empire was established, becoming one of the world's major economic, political and military powers.&nbsp;<br>It has left a profound cultural, architectural and linguistic influence across the globe, with a legacy of around 250 million speakers. It is a developed country with an advanced economy and high living standards.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The largest country in Northern Europe, bordering Norway&nbsp; and Finland, and being connected to Denmark by bridge-tunnel across the <a href="https://images.app.goo.gl/yTxukHt4gHpwoW879">Öresund Strait</a>. At 450,295 square kilometres (173,860 sq mi), it’s the third-largest country in the European Union, and the fifth largest&nbsp; in Europe. It has a total population of 10.4 million.<br>The climate is in general mild for its northerly latitude due to significant maritime influence. In spite of the high latitude, it often has warm continental summers, being located in between the North Atlantic, the Germanic peoples have inhabited the country since prehistoric times, emerging into history as the Geats and Swedes and constituting the sea peoples known as the Norsemen. An independent state emerged during the early 12th century. <br>It was formally neutral through both world wars and the Cold War.          <description><![CDATA[<div>A country in Northern Europe, bordering the Gulf of Finland , the Baltic Sea, Latvia, Lake Peipus and Russia. The territory consists of the mainland and of 2,222 islands on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea, covering a total area of 45,227 km<sup>2</sup> (17,462 sq mi), and is influenced by a humid continetal cliamte.&nbsp; Tallinn, the capital, and Tartu are the largest cities and urban&nbsp; areas in the country.&nbsp;</div><div>The territory has been inhabited since at least 9,000 BC.&nbsp; After centuries of successive rule by Germans, Danes, Swedes, Poles and Russians,, a distinct national identity began to emerge in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This culminated in independence from Russia in 1920.&nbsp; During WWII, the country was repeatedly contested and occupied by Germany and the Soviet Union, ultimately being incorporated into the latter. In 1987, its independence was restored on 20 August 1991.</div><div>It is a developed coountry , with a high-income advanced economy. The sovereign state&nbsp; is a democratic parliamentary republic .          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Geography and History </strong><br>Founded in 1922, after gaining the independence from the the United Kingdom, this country has about 4 964 440 inhabitants in an extension of 69 797 km2. Bathed by Celtic sea in the south, <em>St George's Channel</em> in the southeast and a sea with its name in the east, Eire, as it also known, became a member of the European Union in 1973 and joined the euro zone in 1999. <br><strong>Culture <br></strong>The capital and the largest city is one of most visited, most because of its Castle, the Jim Larkin statue or the amazing parks like <em>St Stephen's Green</em> garden. <br>It culture refers to the Celtic period, starting with the <a href="https://youtu.be/GYqKG4qT2pM">music</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Kells">literature</a> or <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxty">gastronomy</a>. In 1960, this country gained independence. In 1974, Greece did an coup d' etat to unite this country with Greece, but it failed. In that same yeat, Turkey invaded the northern part of this country. This country borders Turkey, Syria and Lebanon.
