I learned that parents were so desperate for money they would sell their children. I wonder if the parents thought about what they were doing or if it was in the heat of the moment. I cant believe that parents would sell their children!i noticed there were statues but I wonder why there were statues. i wonder what black tuesday is. i think that it is when the stockmarket crashed and the great depresion. 250,000 teenagers lived on the roads! The teenagers would leave their home because of the great depression. Their parents couldn't aford to keep them and feed them so the teens had no place to go accept the roads. I learned about Louis Armstrong, Iuring Burling, and Richard Rogers. that is mostly what we learned about today in class!

I think this book will be great!

I learned that teenagers would leave there homes and familys because they would have to work at the ranch...I also learned that when school was over all the kids would climb up the train cars and ride home or were ever they were going...I wonder how they didnt fall off? 250,000 teenagers lived on the roads! The teenagers would leave their home because of the great depression...That is crazy I would never do that.We did many things today and it was very fun and interesting to learn

I learned that many kids after school would ride the train home. Also I learned many teen's were homeless after the great depression and yet they still did ride the rails after the great depression.

I think the the videos and the story is great a story. ;]

I think that today's class work was very interesting. Learning about the Great Depression ended up being more intriguing than I thought it would be. Scrolling through the images on Google was probably my favorite part,

My thoughts about today's classwork ismthat Bud Not Budy seems like a very interesting book and that it's mostly about what happend in the Great Depression. Also I learned that 250,000 teenagers lived on the streets.Over all I think this is going to very interesting.

I learned that Bud Not Buddy will be a very interesting book. ( Gangsters was my favorite part ;) ) . I also learned a little about the great depression, what they did on the railroad, Gangsters, So I think I will be very hooked on this book because of the stations we did today in school! :)

I learned that the Great Depression really affected peoples lives and will probably have a big impact on the book. My favorite part was when we got to look at pictures because it showed me a gave of information that I hadn't known before. I think this book will be great!

I learned during the great depression that Franklin D. Roosevelt was president also I wonder how they survived with not much food or water. I wondered why they would sell there children just so they could eat. I think that, that is very selfish. I learned a lot of people who were either G-men or Gangsters they were considered famous. Some gangsters like John Dillinger, Pretty Boy Floyd, Machine Gun Kelly, George Nelson, Al Capone, and then there was Bonnie and Clyde. Some famous G-men were Elliot Ness, Melvin Purvis, and J. Edgar Hoover. I also learned that after school ended kids had to ride the train home, also teenagers had to leave home and ride the rails. Also 250,000 teenagers living on the road. Also there are some famous musicians I never new existed but I know the first one Louie Armstrong the ones I didn't know were alive:) such as Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. Finally, I learned there was dancing and music even though I sort of already new that.

I think this book is going to be awesome!;) :)

I think Bud, Not Buddy is going to be a good and interesting book. My favorite was the Gangsters and the G men. I found the Great Depression sad and interesting. One thing I had a questioned is why did the teens and kids ride on top of the train? Don't you think that's dangerous?
