My EL students need content they can understand and relate to. They need vocabulary and visuals to go along with it to support them in learning English. All of my students also need content they can relate to deeply.

Students who are way below grade level and are having a hard time progressing when learning to read.

Students who have a specific reading disability that might not be diagnosed yet, or have been recently diagnosed.

Challenges might be a lack of training on my end, as well as a lack of support and resources from my school, seeing as I will be teaching in a small Catholic school.
