I think this video is motivational an teaches the viewer to never give up. Giving up is the easier option in the majority of situations, especially a scenario where one is in severe pain. Redmond was able to persevere and finish the race after an injury 150 of 400 meters in. If he can overcome the pain of a torn hamstring, then someone in an everyday situation should be able to accomplish or work towards their goals. Though the challenge may seem vast, you can overcome the scenario, whether you need help from others, some more determination, or more motivation.

The message from the video is very motivational and that one should never give up. The fact that his father broke free from the crowd, and security, to come and help his son through the toughest is a very heartwarming action. It makes me remember just how much of a support my parents are in my life and to never take that for granted. They are my number fan, just as Redmond's father was. Particularly at the Olympics to come so far and not be able to compete and possibly win is detrimental to his career. It would be curious to see where he is now, I do not follow running.

Watching this video, it's hard not to feel bad for the runner. He was likely to win the gold and ended up getting last due to an unexpected incident. Though the video was heartbreaking, it teaches a great lesson about never giving up. Sometimes it might be difficult to keep going but with the help of others it is possible to reach your goals. This was shown by the runner's father breaking through security to come help his son complete his goal of crossing the finish line. As in the case of the runner, we cannot always know the challenges that may lie ahead of us, but with perseverance it is possible to reach your goals.

This video teaches a valuable lesson about never giving up. Sometimes unfortunate events happen that we can't control, but its how you react to those situations that shows who you really are. Reaching your goal may sometimes seem impossible, but having someone by your side supporting you through your struggles makes it much easier. The second lesson is about friendship and loyalty. It's hard face challenges with no one there pushing you to continue or helping you along the way, so its important to be at the side of your loved ones when you realize they are struggling.

This video is a good reminder that we should always get back up after we fall down. It is often extremely difficult to experience a catastrophic loss and sometimes it feels that we cannot continue on.
However, there is always strength to keep going in each and every one of us. Sometimes this strength may come from another person, as shown in the video, but one is always able to continue on no matter what happens.

As a runner and a parent, this video is truly touching. I even get chills watching it. First of all, I am so impressed by the Olympian's determination to finish the race despite the extreme pain of such an injury. Secondly, this moment shows how important it is to have people on our side supporting and encouraging us to achieve our goals. We all have dreams in life, but no one do it all alone.
