I am Maria Vicenta Bernardo Galvez-Evangelista, a Secondary Science Teacher III of the Zamboanga National High School West, SDO Zamboanga City, Philippines. It's my 9th year and 2 months as a Permanent Teacher in the public School but I have started teaching at the age of 19 when I entered the convent. I strongly believe that God has great plans for me and I am always thankful of the many blessings that God has bestowed on me. At present, I am the Grade 10 Curriculum Chair, previously an ICT Coordinator of our Department. Lingering on the multi-tasks in the school, I can't remember any instance that I am discouraged at my present state. What I am convinced of that Teaching is a Mission, a vocation that was given freely and we were appointed to carry on these mission in our life. Tantamount to the things that we are doing in the Department of Education we are assured that we do love this job and being in this job entails a lot of challenges. One of the challenges that we have faced was this pandemic and we sought everything as we wanted to fulfill our mission and we do not like that our students will be ignored.
