After 5 grueling hours in the train, we finally arrived at Semarang at 3pm. The sun was striking hot.

After arriving at Semarang, we immediately departed to Ambarawa with 2 Hiaces and arrived at the hotel.

Church visit

After having breakfast, we went to the GKJ Church and sang some songs. This was our first service in Ambarawa.

The breeze of the wind here was very cold and the food was good. There was also a band that was playing music that let us sing together.

Orphanage visit 2 (sushi making)

Junior High School visit

In this highschool, we presented about the use of technology and internet. The kids there were really energetic.

Candi Gedong Songo

This was the most memorable place for me. There are 9 candis in Candi Gedong Songo, We visited 5/9. I wanted to hike until the 9th candi but we didn't have enough time. I really enjoyed the view but the hike to reach the candi was quite tiring.

Nursing home visit 1 (Making Bracelets)

The grandmas were happy but it was quite hard to put in the beads while making the bracelets.

Elementary school visit 1 (Puzzle)

The elementary school kids are quite hard to control, I had problem trying to manage them because they kept running around 😭

Nursing home visit 2 (Socializing)

Elementary school visit 2 (Scavenger hunt)

This was our last day at the elementary school so the kids there were asking for our instagram and even our phone numbers. I jokingly put in my friend's number and the student actually called him 😭😭😭

Goa Rong

This place has amazing views but I don't think it beats Candi Gedong Songo but it was still beautiful nonetheless.

We rode an old train, the toilet was quite funny because it just had an open hole so if you peed it'd just go straight down the traintrack.
