5 stage in web creation process

1. Planning

-planning the project is the most important step, and it is even more critical than the actual development. A plan gets massaged and altered along the way, but it is advantageous to keep the core plan intact.

2. Design

-The design team will breakdown the planning and requirements for the project and start the process that will lead to the creation of a beautiful design that is unique to your company’s brand. Designers use a few tried and true methods to produce eye popping designs and happy clients.

3. Development

-the visual aesthetics for the project, it’s time to slice up the mock-up , break out the design elements, and jump into code. Many core tasks are involved here such as building the site structure, constructing the templates, importing data, publishing content, and creating news stories and events, etc. Of course, rigorous testing is performed for functionality and performance throughout this stage. Below I have broken out several key concepts.

4. Launch

- We have the project developed, now we are ready to show the world! While we’ve come a long way, we aren’t out of the woods yet. We need to do some final touch-up, get everything over on the production server, some more testing, and then we can flip the switch
- Crafting Taking one final opportunity to make the site better is a staple of high fidelity work. All sorts of improvements are welcome here such as performance, user experience, responsiveness, tacking, kerning, padding, margins, and one last dab of paint.

- Push to the Production Environment Okay, this is it. This is judgment day for developers. Literally, make it or break it. The site has been tested inside and out, we have approval to launch. Now is the time to get all the code and data needed for a fully functional site on to the production server. This can be handled in numerous ways but are typically determined by the project specifics discovered in the planning step. But we have found the smoothest transition is having all the data on the server ahead of time so that when the word is given, switching to the new site is as easy as --pressing a button.

- Testing – Functionality and Final Cross-browser & Responsive Checks

Everything is up, the world can see it, now is the time to run back though the site for final testing in the production environment and to ensure the site works across all modern browsers and devices. Many things can be auto-tested, others require manual testing.

5. Post Launch

- At this stage we will provide documentation, discuss additional needs and next steps explained in detail below. Even though your site has launched and your project has reached completion to ensure your site or application continues to yield positive results it will require ongoing care and maintenance. Your team may want to consider an online care Plan.
- Documentation Handoff Clients often want and need most (if not all) of the documentation that is created during a project. This includes documentation for Releases, Testing, Products, User Interface, Screenshots, Wireframes, Photoshop documents, Images, etc. Clients that host and maintain their own site/app usually require all source files and databases to be packaged up and delivered to them. The goal here is to provide any and everything the client needs to be happy.

- Additional Client Training Following up with the client is important so that additional training that may be needed can be scheduled and conducted. Sometimes its training that goes deeper into managing and creating content, other times the client can benefit from another round of training on their software to better familiarize themselves with it.

- Final Thoughts Hopefully this post has helped you gain a better understanding of the basic process used to take a project from beginning to end, and if I did what I set out to do, you also learned a thing or two. If there’s any follow up questions, or a related topic you would like to know more about, please comment below.

5 stages in Web Creation Process

1. Gathering Information.

-The first thing person should do (and it is also the most important) is to get a good understanding of the company that the site is going to promote. This involves getting to completely understand the company’s business goals, and how a web site can be utilized to help the company get closer to those goals.

2.The Planning Stage

- it would need to design a site map. After all, the end user is the person who, along with others from the group, will eventually decide on whether the site provides sufficient information on a service or product – and maybe then go ahead and place.

3.Design

-always keep the target audience in mind when planning on the design, and open line of communication between the designer and the client is imperative at this stage. A few discussions, a few exchanges of ideas and a little tweaking here and there can make the difference between a satisfied client.

4.The Development Stage

Designer would first work on the home page of the site, after which a basic shell is created for the inner pages. The shell is nothing but the template, and it has the navigational structure of the site. Once this shell is ready, you need to simply put in relevant information on the pages – text, flash, audio, images and so on.

5. Delivery

-This is the final stage of the development process. As a part of quality checking the site, the designer needs to ensure that all codes created for the site are validated. A valid code simply means that the site meets current web standards. It is important to keep this in mind when looking for bugs such as compatibility across different browsers.

5 stage in web creation process.

1. Information Gathering

The initial step to making a successful web site is gathering relevant information. You need to keep certain things in mind to help define the look and feel of the site. The first thing you should do (and it is also the most important) is to get a good understanding of thecompany that the site is going to promote.

2. The Planning Stage

After stage one you have certain
information in hand, which you will use in the stage two. Now you would need to design a site map. The site map is nothing but a list of basic topics and subtopics that need to go up on the site, which serves as a blueprint to help design the site. You will use this to create a site where navigating is easy
and simple.

3. Design

Once the project is properly defined, the Design step begins. This is the prototype phase of the project. Prototype concepts are basic design ideas; the first look at your project's possibilities.

4. develop

Thisis where you start to actually make the web pages of the site. You need to useall the graphic elements from the approved mock design, and put them into functional web pages

5. Delivery

This is the final stage of the development process. You need to quality check the site end to end. test out the complete functionality of the site, all forms included, as well as last minute compatibility issues on different browsers. A good designer keeps himself abreast with current design standards and all technologies incorporated into the site.

1. Research and information gathering

In this step, all the necessary information is researched and gathered, like the client
requirements, purpose of the website, and expectations from the completed website. You also
need to look into the kind of people who would be accessing the site and what content should
be added to it.

2. Website planning

Once all the necessary information is compiled, a site map for the prospective site can be
created. The site map includes the main topics, subtopics, and overall ecosystem of the
website. It will be used in later stages as a guide to create the final website.

3. Website development

This is the main stage and possibly the longest. It involves reviewing information with the client
and developers and determining how the final site would look like. Much of the information
gathered in the first stage will be used, along with the suggestions and preferences of the
client. It is common for more than one prototype website to be designed at this stage for
clients to choose from.

4. Web design development

At this point of the web design cycle, the client and developer should have reached to an
agreement about the various elements of the website, like the logo placement, color, and
design. The developers and designers then start making the final version of the website. It
usually starts with the home page, but it can change with each company. Templates for
additional pages may also be made, with code compliance, accessibility, and functionality in
mind.

5. Site analysis and release

Once the final site is made, all the elements are analyzed by both developers and clients. Site
compatibility is tested with different browsers, along with code validation and other aspects of the site. After all these tests are done successfully, the website is uploaded to a hosting service
and handed over to the client.

5 stages in web creation process

Stage 1 – Gather Information

The first step in the process is gathering as much information about the objectives of a website. This usually starts with a meeting between a client and the designer to find out everything they are looking to achieve with their website.

Stage 2 – Design

They next stage is designing the architecture and the look of the website based on all of the gathered information from stage 1. This includes mapping out the structure of the website using a sitemap. A sitemap defines the main pages and sub-pages of the website which is used as a guide on what content will be featured on the website. The sitemap is also essential in providing a clear understanding of the navigational system that will be used.

Stage 3 – Development

After the design has been approved by the client, the website can then enter the development stage. This stage is the actual creation of a website. The technologies used in creating the website are very dependent on the purpose. For example, a large website which features a shop usually requires constant updating and this has to be considered by the developers when deciding on what technologies to use for the website.

Stage 4 – Testing & Launch

The testing stage is one of the most important stages. This involves analysing every page of the website on the most common screen sizes including desktop and mobile devices to make sure everything works and looks as it should. In this stage, any errors will be fixed and the final details will be added to the website.

Stage 5 – Maintenance

Just because a website has been launched, it doesn’t mean that the process is over. There will always be updates that are required in terms of the content and technologies and there may be errors that naturally occur on a website. Our ethos here at Page North is that your website is never finished. We become a digital partner to all of our clients. This means that we are only a phone call or an email away to make a change to your website and this means your website is always at the top of the game.
