As teachers, we can teach children to care for plants and animals, observe the weather and seasons, save water, recycle materials, and keep their environment clean. Through activities such as planting seeds, exploring nature, and picking up litter on the playground, children develop empathy, responsibility, and a love for the planet. These simple experiences lay the foundation for them to better understand deeper environmental issues in the future and to grow into “Earth helpers.” Amelia Paleo

Teaching young children to care for plants and animals is a simple way to introduce them to the environment. When children water a plant or help feed a pet, they learn that living things need food, water, and care to grow. These small activities help children understand responsibility and kindness. Over time, they begin to see that they can help take care of the world around them.

This is a musical with children acting out simple things to do to take care of the climate through preventing and stopping littering, correct ways of waste disposal, Recycling Waste and reducing the use of non biodegradable materials as well as using reusable material to protect climate change because more things to incinerate, Improperly disposing litter can lead to more harmful chemical reactions in the air that will affect change in climate and trees struggling to breath therefore not giving us oxygen and water being contaminated because of improper waste management

and animals, fish dying and more sick people, More dangerous rains like floods and more heat called global warming because of improper water management. There’s a ♻️ reuse- reduce -recycle song that is popular and that will be the theme song for this musical. Some children will act as natural habitats, some as people and others as animals complaining about how the improper waste management affects them. Teacher will write a simple and clear script for children to memorize easily.

Nature scavenger hunt -Lexy R

I believe that if we set up a scavenger hunt outdoors it would be beneficial for them. Students would learn how to respect nature, how to observe their surroundings and find things; and it would help with their fine motor skills, of running, crawling (if it is in low places) or climbing. They will naturally be aware of where they are, or where to look for the next object. It would be good if the students are separated into 3 groups, each student having a turn with the sheet and directing the group. The children will only need a paper with the directions, clues or photos, and glue to paste it on the page or draw it out with crayon. It will help build teamwork, and an understanding that everyone has a place or part to play in caring for our earth.
