I want to thank Mr. G for always making classes fun. I was never interested history but now I look forward to his class every Tuesday and Thursday. Mr. G always takes the chance to be funny but in times where it need to be serious he doesn't fail to give respect to the subject we are learning and that is very much appreciated. He's the right balance of serious and funny. Edit: I decided to add more cause I was bored so here goes. Even though I'm an ambivert I lean more towards the introvert side but Mr. G's class seems to bring out the extrovert in me (well as much as extroverted as I can get on an online school) it seems I'm always able to joke around in his class and not worry about it being taken seriously. Muchos gracias Señor Page! I remember when I first realized I had to take Spanish in order to be admitted to a 4-year university, I wasn't happy. It was a real struggle to get through so much content in a short period of time, and I didn't enjoy it very much. But when I was assigned to your class, I found a real interest in Spanish because your classes were engaging and the content was easier to follow. I don't often see teachers go through so much extra work for the convenience of the students as you do. ¡Ten un verano muy bien con los hijos!

This has been one of the best years for me purely because ALL of my teachers have been so helpful, understanding, and really made me have a desire to learn.
Ms. Palmer, you have made me want to pursue an art career. I truly love your class and the encouragement you give to all of your students.

Ms. Edera, I have such a fondness for your class. I have learned so much and not only about the human body but about relationships with others that most schools do not teach. It is greatly appreciated, and so very important to learn!
Mrs. Reul, even though I see you for about 30 minutes every Wednesday I always look forward to homeroom, (and not just because it's the only class on Wednesday). You make it so fun and yet still teach and make sure everyone is doing okay.
It means a lot when us students are checked on. Not only about our schoolwork, but about our personal lives making sure we are doing alright.
I am slightly sad that I am graduating since I won't have any of you guys as my teachers anymore. Hopefully I put this in a way to show how grateful I am for the efforts put forth by my teachers. <3

Ms. Sloan's teaching is a million bucks. Thanks a lot! She's always willing to answer or explain questions you have in class, even when they're complicated and multi-faceted. She breaks down complicated concepts, like taxes and federal spending, into simple step-by-step learning, so that we can cover a lot of material in a rather short class time. The research assignments in class are particularly cool - they allow us to do our own work to learn about the subject matter, and give us more firsthand examples than if it was all lecture material. The feedback we get from our research is always good to hear; you hear even more insights after you've done your own research.

Thanks to Mrs. Barber, the coolest homeroom teacher, and you can quote me on that. I like how she's so honest - she participates in all of the discussion activities in class, putting forth an example for everyone. And, I'll be honest, I find it difficult to stomach some of the ultra-positive motivational content in homeroom, because it's just so cheesy. Mrs. Barber somehow puts forth all the enthusiasm and, when she believes so strongly in a simple saying like "You can do it!" then, it doesn't feel so cheesy anymore. She will always be supportive, positive, and honest. I think we could all be a little more like her!

Sloan- You helped me learn how to have a respectful argument about my beliefs, and I don't think you meant to. This is a skill I will be forever grateful for. You let us speak our minds in not only government class but economics as well, which are, in my opinion, very much overlapping, and the ability to speak freely about global issues has never been so supported in my past schools.

Asparro- You get my references and my nerdy text-to-life/text/fiction connections, and you acknowledge them. You make reading fun for the class and allow us to get relatively sidetracked yet somehow on topic (which, I still don't get how we do that but here we are...)

Edera- Nutrition class started as this off-beat mixed grade class where not a lot of people knew each other, and blossomed into this beautiful place of support and understanding that I've needed in school for years. We not only learn how to recognize healthy and unhealthy habits and social stigmas, but also how to support people who have struggled with things such as eating disorders and self-image issues, and those who still struggle. I hope you are able to keep that experience and safe space continuing for future and current, non-graduating students.

Vickery- I don't know she'll get this because I think she stopped working for Online Oregon, but here we go anyway. I always appreciated your class, we wrote essays and read some Hamlet (which still isn't my favorite thing to read,) but we also wrote poetry. I submitted a poem that unleashed things I have kept silent about for years and I felt so free after, because I finally told someone that wasn't my best friend. Not only did you read the poem but you cared enough to check in with me about it. This is support and I had never seen a teacher give to a student, and it gave me a little more hope for the school system. Thank you.

All- Long story short, you four are some of the most amazing teachers I have ever had, which is a lot cuz I've been to like 8 schools since 2nd grade. You support your students and ask them questions to help them consider the other side of the argument and gain knowledge, and you support them as individuals. I think the school system needs more teachers like you four. You're the kind of teachers I'd expect to show up to the anxious kid's performance, the outspoken kid's protest, or basically anything you can to support your students.

Although I am certain you are no longer teaching in this school and most likely won't see this I still want to give you a shoutout. You were an amazing Spanish teacher and shared my love and interest in culture, Anthropology, and language. I will miss our long conversations on the depth of culture and language and talks about ancient history and religions. They were truly fun and I wish you good luck.

Again this is another person I don't know if they still teach at the school. But your classes we always interesting and important to learn. From learning to fill out a W-2 and other tax information forms and calculating income vs costs and learning about other inner workings of managing a budget. These classes were all incredibly important and I will forever use this information throughout my life as an adult. You always demonstrated how to do the math and gave examples to help people understand the content better. Thanks for the amazing year of learning.

To all the teachers I didn't mention. You are all still amazing. I attended a brick-and-mortar High School for a short time and I must say that no matter what, my experience with the teachers at this school is a million times better than what I've experienced before. You all proved an amazing level of professionalism while also creating a connection with your students and making sure everyone is on track to succeed. I also wanted to give a special Shout-out to my counselors. All of them helped me to achieve my goals in education and attend the classes I wanted to be in. Thank you for being a terrific teacher! To be 100% honest, I did not like US Government and I do not like Economics, but you are a terrific and fun teacher and that makes having to learn those subjects far more bearable! I really appreciate all of your help, both in regard to the coursework, and also all of the outside-of-school questions I keep bombarding you with (sorry for those, but your answers have been incredibly helpful!)! I also really appreciate that, when it comes to more controversial topics in class, you don't make it sound like one side or the other is right (might be a weird thing to note, but I really do appreciate the... neutrality? If that's the right word?), it makes class far less stressful than it could be! Thank you again for being a terrific teacher and for always being so helpful (and for being one of my favorite teachers!)!!
