In Art Education, students analyzed various painting styles, artistic movements (like Surrealism, Expressionism, Post-Impressionism, and Cubism), and experimented with techniques inspired by each artist. They created their own artworks using oil pastels, watercolors, collage, mixed media, and digital drawing tools, encouraging creativity and skill development.

In Language classes, students described and reflected on artworks, wrote short artist biographies, and presented their own interpretations. These activities supported vocabulary development, critical thinking, and communication in both their native and foreign languages.

In History and Cultural Studies, the lives of the artists were contextualized within their historical and social backgrounds, helping students understand the cultural significance and impact of art in different time periods.

The integration of ICT allowed students to research artists, create digital galleries, and participate in virtual collaboration with partner schools. They also used online tools for drawing, presentations, and interactive exhibitions.

This multidisciplinary approach not only enhanced students' artistic expression and appreciation for visual arts but also fostered digital literacy, communication skills, and intercultural awareness—all key competences promoted through the eTwinning framework.

Throughout the project, we connected the theme of art with several areas of the national curriculum:

• Language and Communication (Romanian Language and Literature – CLR):
  Students described artworks, wrote short imaginative texts inspired by paintings, and participated in oral discussions about the lives and works of the featured artists.

• Mathematics and Environmental Exploration (MM):
  Concepts such as symmetry, geometric shapes, measurement, and patterns were explored through the analysis and reproduction of artistic compositions.

• Personal Development (DP):
  The project encouraged emotional expression and self-awareness through discussions about feelings evoked by art. Teamwork activities also supported social-emotional learning.

• Visual Arts and Practical Skills (AVAP):
  This was the core of the project. Students created their own artwork inspired by the styles and techniques of the artists studied, using various materials and media. They also participated in virtual exhibitions and collaborative art projects with partner schools.

Romanian Language and Literature (CLR):

Students developed oral and written communication skills by expressing opinions about artworks, narrating imagined stories inspired by paintings, and learning new vocabulary related to visual arts.

Mathematics and Environmental Exploration (MM):

Children identified geometric shapes and symmetrical patterns in artworks, practiced measuring elements of their own drawings, and explored spatial orientation through visual composition.

Personal Development (DP):

Discussions around art helped students express emotions and build empathy. Teamwork activities fostered cooperation and mutual respect.

Visual Arts and Practical Skills (AVAP):

Students experimented with colors, lines, textures, and composition, creating personal artworks inspired by the techniques and styles of the artists studied. They also participated in digital galleries and collaborative art activities with partner schools.
