Sustainable development is developing the economy while staying sustainable and keeping stability with nature. It is a circluar system with little waste. It leads to improvement and balance in the society, helping to educate people. Sustanable developmment can be seen everywhere, including green space, solar energy, and recycling. In uwcsea dover, there is lots of sustianablity because of the brilliant solutions. As an example, the water system recycles the rainwater from the "rainforest" and runs down to the waterfall, finally being stored under the swings.

Natural Environment is a natural area that was not been influenced by human. The animals and plants live peacefully together, hunting just enough for their survival and the survival of others, keeping a balance in all life. It is usually a circular system wherein as animals eat each other and give birth to another, and plants grow, die, regrow. These environments include amazon rainforest, the deepest sea, rivers, and jungles. However, because of human pollution and climate change, these natural environments are becoming lesser and lesser. In order to survive, humans need to consider saving the earth.

Intended and Unintended Consequences

Often, what people intended to do leads to some unintended consequences. In most cases, people intended to do good, which the unintended consequences are bad. As one example, you want to help make the world sustainable by picking up trash, but in the end you are using plastic bags to hold the trash, which also harms the earth. Climate change was not intended. Humans did not forsee the damage to the planet when they first started to burn fossil fuels, cut down trees, and creat industries that released greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, until now. Another example is the operation cat drop. The WHO sprayed DDT around the island in 1950s because there were many malarias. However, the uninteneded consequences of this is it accidentally killed the parastic wasps who control the population of thatch eating catipellars. Unfortunately, the dayak people's roofs are made out of thatch and soon the roofs were broken. Geckos also ate lots of DDT and cats who ate geckos died. Now, the rats are flourishing and the plague. People are harming the earth right now without intending it, such as using plastic coke bottles for convenience, changing new iPhones every 2 years, buying too much food that eventually was thrown away, and more.

Economic growth is an approach to society when people care more about how much money they earn rather than caring what unintended causes they create. In this type of society, there is often much use of oil, massive workforce, pollution, and more. In the end, only the top of society gets the money, while all of society are forced to pay the cost: the earth itself.

This is a very unsustainable economy that harms the earth's resources. These glitteres are microplastics and when dumped in ocean, damage the ocean and marine animals.
