1. Personal Goal: I may share more info about training for a 5k. I first fell in love with running, so I made a goal to a run 5k. Then, I trained for the 5k with my running buddy; we had a strict schedule and ran for a few months even through small injuries. Lastly, I actually ran the 5k, and I was proud of my time. I learned that hard work and discipline pay off.

2. Overcoming a fear. I used to be afraid of public speaking, and I had to take a public speaking class in college. First, I had to work though the fear and make plan; I learned some tips to help make public speaking easier since I did sign up for this class, but I knew I was so nervous. Then, I practiced in front of a camera and then a few of my friends. Last, I actually conquered my fear completely by giving two speeches in front of my speech class. I learned that it is important to face our fears. You do not know what you can overcome if you do not try.

I have sprained both my ankles multiple times, I've torn my meniscus in my knee, I've also sprained a ligament on the bottom of my foot and ive had many minor injuries.

Kindness: Id say my biggest act of kindness had to have been the day I signed up for big brothers big sisters (BBB). I've always wanted to give a kid today what I didn't have growing up. BBB allows me to meet with my "little" once a week, to hangout and talk with them. I hope to be able to help a kid mentally or just give them an extra friend!

Personal Growth: I play club volleyball every year, and this year I will be playing my second year at this new club APEX. This is my 4th year playing club all together and I will usually play regional which is where my team doesn't travel too far. This year I decided to try out for an American team which means I will be traveling in and out of state for games! So, I went to a lot of extra volleyball clinics this summer and I made an American 17's team!

Challenge: Well working on my driver's licence I drove my fifty hours, I did my driver's ED, I did everything I needed to do before my driver's test. With everything done it was time to take the test so I went to the BMV. The guy giving the test was super strict about it, and for good reason. So I did not pass the first time but I practiced driving more. I wanted to drive before school started and it was the beginning of the month. After a week of practicing again I finally passed my driver's test and could drive.

Kindness: My aunt has two kids now. A six year old and a one year old. My aunt is busy with her job and cannot watch the two kids all the time. My six year old cousin started school so that was not a problem. So my mom and I went to Columbus early in the morning to get the one year old kid. So we would drive an hour and half to watch my cousin. Then at around four in the afternoon we would drive forty five minutes to return my cousin.

Goal: I wanted to make varsity my freshman year. growing up I jumped around from sport to sport, I was good at all of them but I didn't really like to play them. then 7th grade I started tennis and I fell in love with it, not just how fun it was but I became obsessed at being the best tennis player at Lancaster, the end of my 8th grade year my coaches told me and my dad that I made a 10x improvement from 7th to 8th grade. Then I met Mr Clark and he took the time with me to work on my game and make me the best. he said he saw a younger version of him in me, he said he saw so much potential in me. which that really made me happy because I felt like in every other sport I was always getting overlooked. Then the start of my freshman year I made varsity by beating the seniors and in my 10th grade year I went undefeated.

fear: I would always care about what people thought about me. I don't know why I would but I just would, and then I started actually believing what the Bible would say and what God thought about me and I just don't care anymore what they think about.

Challenge: How does it feel to fly alone to a foreign country? I have never flown alone, but I have flown several times. The closer the day came, the more anxious I became. What if I get lost or miss my connecting flight? I did not know what the airport looked like. The only thing I knew was that the airport is huge. When I arrived at Chicago airport, exhausted and full of uncertainty, I realized that I had successfully completed the first part of my journey. But what next? I'm unsure what the people around me are saying. But I know one thing for sure: my next flight is in an hour and it's going to be very tight. I was still standing in several endless queues. Now time was flying by and it was time to board!!! I was losing every shred of hope. I asked everyone with my last ounce of strength. You won't believe me, but in the end I actually made it. If I learned one thing, it's that hope dies last.
