         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Before the mousetrap is set, the car has zero potential or kinetic energy</div><div><br></div><div>-When the mousetrap was set it increased potential energy, so when the mousetrap car was set, it served as a spring, when one releases the force&nbsp;</div><div>compressing the mousetrap, the mousetrap snaps back into it's original state.</div><div><br></div><div>-As you let go of the mousetrap, two energies transform. First, potential energy converts into kinetic energy as the car increases speed because kinetic energy increases when the velocity is increased. At the same time, the kinetic and potential energy are converted into heat because of friction. Which is why the car will eventually stop, when the car is in a complete stop, all of the energy has converted from potential and kinetic into heat.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</div>]]></description>
