You can still see the green in the needles of  the snow covered pine trees. The sky in the background is almost as white as the snow, just with some blue peeking through the clouds making it just off of the color of the rest of the photo.
Step 3: The Element of Design used was color, although there are not many colors, the white in the photo is all different shades of white some slightly mixed with blue and some green. The principle of design used was unity. The whole photo is unified together by the white in the photo, without the white in the snow you could clearly see where things like trees end. But with it there is no set ending to anything, the white unifies it together.
Step 4: This work gives off the impression that the photographer enjoys being outside.
