The rainforest has a lot of species. If we lived in Singapore 500 years ago, it would be mostly rainforest. The rainforest has layers, too. The birds live in the uppermost layer. The female and young orangutans live in the second layer and the male orangutans live in the third layer. I think there are around 4 layers.
