I agree with you about it being surprising that Johnny really looked up to someone! I thought he would look up to no one! I do now this is all false if this were to be real I wonder how it would feel hearing that .I also seem to wonder how Johnny and Mr. Lyte are related. I felt very bad for Johnny for being accused of stealing. I thought it was nice of Cilla and Rab to show up to back up for Johnny. And I guess Isannah is sorry for how she treated Johnny. In chapter 5, I think life is going much better for Johnny. He seems happy with riding horses. I think that is why it shows Johnny riding a white horse on the front cover. More about the cover, I wonder if the girl with the basket of bread(?) is Cilla, or one of the other Lapham girls. I wonder how Cilla felt about Johnny leaving with Rab.  I hope she comes back to at least talk to Johnny in later chapters. I have to say, the chapters are really starting to get interesting!

The story probably won't end know with the Boston Tea Party but that just came to mind. I don't know what year this was but there was still slavery and the slaves are probably working for Mr. Hancock . Mr. Lyte or the Lytes  live next to the Hancocks .A slave demanded Johnny to never ever steal sugar and from what  I infer  Mr. Lyte probably told Mr. Hancock that Johnny was accused of stealing a cup that his mother gave him .However, Johnny wants the cup  that is still missing back but not by snatching it . I've never read about this character but Mr. Malineaux  is about to go bankrupt . Just incase if you do not know what bankrupt means you lose all your money .It's kind of like getting sued by the bank. I did not know that Eshter Forbes was a she. I forgot the reason on why the Laphams  refuse to pay the taxes all that I remembered is that something would happen.   Johnny Tremain is one of those books that it gets more interesting in the end . Then I remembered that slavery was outlawed in 1865( source:Google) Also, I wanted to mention that alot of real historical people were mentioned in these chapters and overall the whole book. Some are Paul Revere, Sam Adams(?), and John Adams(?). Now the book is REALLY starting to get interesting! Proof of chapter 6 being about the Boston tea party is that it said that all the people were dressing up as "Indians"(Real term Native Americans) I also thought it was interesting Dove was mentioned again too. And also, in  the end of Chapter 6, it mentioned Philadelphia. Oh, and in Chapter 7, the gallows were mentioned again! And I also love the illustrations details.
