Integrating social justice and equity-based topics into Family and Consumer Health course that I teach to the undergraduate students at my college. The course is focused on skill building so need to bring in topics and information that integrates history, social justice and equity concepts such as health literacy, housing crisis, inflation, immigration and family and consumer issues, financial literacy, etc.

I feel like all organizations in this space plus many districts are all writing their own newsletters...could that be an offering of ASHA? Like we put together templated newsletter content around each of the WSCC areas that highlight the best of the best resources for that topic, then make them available to members to do the work for them (they update with their own relevant/dynamic content, but have the go-to evidence-based resources within. Could be a nice collaborative project for us.
