Some major geographic features are Lake Titicaca, the Amazon River, Amazon Rainforest, and the Andes Mountains, which runs along the west side of Peru. It is made up of mountains but also lots of forest, so there is a deforestation issue. Also, there is a long rainy season from October to March so it's always wet in Peru. In result, there is a sewer pollution problem.

In Peru, farmers cut down the rainforest for land to farm. However, this caused deforestation problems to arise, as said before. Farmers also raise animals for food, clothing, travel, etc. Peru exports many materials like copper, gold, silver, petroleum, natural gas, metals, coffee, plastic, machines, food, clothing, and textiles.
